The Cardinal Health Protexis Latex Essential Sterile Powder Free Surgical Gloves are cream sterile surgical gloves made with natural rubber latex and feature increased sensitivity ideal for general surgery.
These gloves are classified as a Class IIa Medical Device. They are supplied in a box containing 50 pairs.
Sensitive Natural Rubber Latex Gloves
Made from natural rubber latex formulation, the gloves contain 17μg/dm² or less of water-extractable protein. The Protexis Latex Essential gloves also feature a smooth grip and are thinner compared to other latex gloves – up to 0.21mm. This gives users increased sensitivity, making them ideal for general surgery and a great choice as an outer glove when double-gloving.
Powder-Free
The gloves are supplied powder-free, helping to reduce the chance of powder-related skin irritation occurring as well as limiting post-operative complications associated with granulomas.
Triple-Dip Coating
To make the Protexis Latex Essential gloves easier to use and wear, they are made using a triple-dip coating which combines latex and nitrile. This integration of materials makes the gloves incredibly easy to don, as well as improving strength and helping to reduce latex exposure.
