HexArmor 4025 Gloves Safety and Protection Ratings
EN 388
EN 388 is a European regulation governing the sale of gloves used for safety and protection. It determines the gloves' performance when used for protection against mechanical machinery by measuring the fabric's abrasion, cut, tear and puncture resistance. The EN 388 cut resistance test uses a single sharp implement to repeatedly pressure a glove in order to determine the amount of force required to cause visible and functional damage.
Standard | Resistance Rating |
Abrasion Resistance | Level 4 |
Cut Resistance | N/A |
Tear Resistance | Level 2 |
Puncture Resistance | Level 1 |
ISO Cut Resistance | Level F |
Impact Resistance | Level P |
Suitable Environments and APplications for USe
HexArmor 4025 Impact Gloves offer some of the best protection in the business. Please view the list below to see some professions, environments and applications that we think suit them best:
Incredible Level F cUT resistance Rating
Level F is the highest cut resistance rating available. It indicates that a glove is capable of withstanding in excess of a whopping 30 newtons of downward force before showing signs of breakage. This is the difference between a blade, knife tip or serrated edge slicing straight through your glove and it becoming lodged between the tightly spun fibres that make up a Level F safety glove.
SuperFabric Foundation Fabric
Serious about heavy-duty protection, SuperFabric was developed in 1996 as a solution for preventing needle and knife incisions. SuperFabric is the layer that prevents a sharp edge, needle or blade end from breaking through your glove and causing serious injury to your hand.
So What Does SuperFabric Offer?
SuperFabric is a foundation fabric that covers the hand, preventing damage from a variety of different mechanical hazards at various different areas. Please view the image below to see just how protective it is and where HexArmor deploy it:
Serious Impact Protection
Impact protection is vital for construction, building and demolition professionals. Whether it's tools, dense material or power tools, impact protection in the form of an exoskeleton type frame prevents heavy material from crushing your hand and causing serious injury to the fingers, knuckle and palm.
Cruelty-Free Synthetic Leather Palm
Synthetic leather has a number of advantages over its authentic counterparts. Firstly, it's cruelty free, making it the ideal option for the environmental and ethically conscious professional. Secondly, it's inherently immune to cracking, sun-bleaching and liquid staining.
