How Do TurtleSkin Test Puncture Resistance?
Turtleskin use a 28-gauge needle to test the resistance of their glove range. The needle is aimed at the glove at a 90 degree angle, at a velocity of 500mm/min. This is repeated 12 times and the average force required to puncture the glove is then recorded.
What is Aramid Fibre?
Aramid material is weaved tight to provide superior protection from sharp objects including metal shards, needlesticks, knives and glass fragments. This tight weave prevents lateral fibre and inter-fibre shifting.
Comfortable and Reliable Design
Designed to be comfortable, the Turtleskin Aramid gloves feature a 3 inch cuff and elastic wristband to help eliminate the risk of debris getting inside the gloves. This longer cuff provides further protection up the wrist for reliable protection.
