HexArmor 2030 Rig Lizard Silicone Grip Heat-Resistant Gloves
HexArmor 2030 Rig Lizard Silicone Grip Heat-Resistant Gloves 2030 use a silicone grip which has the dual purpose of providing an exceptional level of grip and offering resistance to 250°C of contact heat, making them ideal for dry, high heat-risk jobs such as fabrication and glass handling. SuperFabric embedded into the inner lining helps the gloves to achieve the maximum Level F cut-resistance and a hi-vis lining adds the finishing touches, keeping you safe and seen in the dark.

Protection Ratings
EN 388
EN 388 is a European regulation governing the sale of gloves used for safety and protection. It determines the gloves' performance when used for protection against mechanical machinery by measuring the fabric's abrasion, cut, tear and puncture resistance.
The EN 388 cut resistance test uses a single sharp implement to repeatedly pressure a glove in order to determine the amount of force required to cause visible and functional damage.
Standard | Resistance Rating |
Abrasion Resistance | Level 4 |
Cut Resistance | N/A |
Tear Resistance | Level 3 |
Puncture Resistance | Level 2 |
ISO Cut Resistance | Level F |
Impact Resistance | Level P |
EN 407
EN 407 is a European safety regulation governing the sale of gloves and garments that are resistant to any number of fire, heat and molten related hazards. Please view the table below to find out more:
Standard | Resistance Rating |
Burning Resistance | N/A |
Contact Heat Resistance | Level 2 (250°C) |
Convective Heat Resistance | N/A |
Radiant Heat Resistance | N/A |
Resistance to Small Molten Splashes | N/A |
Resistance to Large Molten Splashes | N/A |

Applications of the HexArmor Silicone Grip Gloves
The Rig Lizard Silicone Grip Gloves are well suited to tough, high risk and dry mechanical environments that demand an exceptional level of grip. Some of the applications where these gloves would be recommended include:
Industry Leading Technology
HexArmor are known for their state-of-the-art work gloves. They manufacture gloves using innovative and forward thinking technology that has refined the entire safety glove field. Rig Lizard Arctic Gloves are no different. Using HexArmor's IR-X Impact Exoskeleton, they provide outstanding flexibility whilst adding additional padding, impact protection and reinforced stitching. Please view the image below to see how this targeted protection can help protect your hands.

The thumb, index finger and thumb saddle are protected by an IR-X guard, meaning that your hands will stay safe while grippy and handling rough objects and materials. Despite all of this extra protection, outstanding sensitivity and flexibility give you total control when picking up goods and materials. This is perfect in more intricate high-risk tasks such as those found in mechanics, engineering and maintenance.
Level F Cut Resistance
Frequently scuffing, cutting or grazing your hands at work? Level F cut resistance is the difference between sharp, abrasive material cutting straight through your hand and it becoming lodged between the seriously cut-resistant fibres that make up your glove.
Impact Protection
Impact protection stops bumps, impacts and constant contact shattering your fingers when handling incredibly dense, heavy material. A necessity for bricklayers, builders and construction workers, impact protection is a commonly overlooked protection that helps to prevent and mitigate serious injury.

Stay Safe, Stay Seen
Staying seen on site is vital. If you aren't visible, you aren't safe. High visibility gloves may seem like a minor addition to a high visibility workwear uniform, but they can make a massive difference in dimly lit areas.
Silicone Grip Offers Heat Resistance
The SIlicone Grip Gloves use a special silicone grip that is designed to improve your grip and offer excellent protection against heat. Level 2 contact heat resistance protects the hands from temperatures up to 250°C, making them well suited to high heat-risk industries such as fabrication, foundry and glass handling.
