The gloves also feature GripTek palm dots and thumb area with PVC dots for maximum grip in muddy situations.

High Visibility

The HexArmor GGT5 Mud Grip 4021X are designed for maximum visibility. Use of bright colours a reflective silver badge on the cuff increase the visibility of the gloves when dropped or when being used in poorly lit environments.

Impact Protection

The HexArmor GGT5 Mud Grip 4021X comes with enhanced impact protection with increased coverage, softer and more flexible TPR increases absorption of impact, this can be seen in the image below.

The HexArmor GGT5 Mud Grip Gloves 4021X have been tested in accordance to EN 388 to determine their level of mechanical protection. The HexArmor GGT5 Mud Grip Gloves 4021 score a rating of 4544 which is explained in the table below:

EN 420:2003

All sizes of the HexArmor GGT5 Mud Grip Gloves 4021X comply with the EN 420:2003 test for comfort and fit and dexterity. Per customer recommendations, these gloves have been manufactured with a tighter fit in order to increase dexterity. The glove length is appropriate for their intended use.

EN 388:2003

Tested in accordance with Clause 6.4 of EN 388:2003. These gloves have an ANSI Puncture rating of Level 3.

  Safety Gloves Sizing Information Guide

In order to select the correct size of safety glove, simply measure across your palm at the point indicated in the picture. Then compare your measurement with the chart below to ensure that you select the correct size of glove for your hand.

We would recommend using a tape measure or ruler to get the right measurement. Our measurements are based on centimetres.

Where your measurement falls on the boundary of two sizes, we would recommend selecting the larger of the two sizes for a comfortable fit. However, if you would specifically like your gloves to be a closer fit, perhaps for work that requires fine movements, select the smaller of the two sizes.

What is EN 388?

You might have noticed that this product adheres to EN standard EN 388. EN standards ensure that the product you are buying meets the safety standards of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), the highest standards organisation recognised by and working on behalf of the European Union. To pass any EN standard, a PPE product must undergo some of the most rigorous safety tests around.

There are many EN standards that our gloves adhere to. However, the EN standard that we’re concerned about here is EN 388. EN 388 stands for Mechanical Resistance, and informs you of your gloves' resistance to abrasion, cuts, tears and punctures.

How Do I Read the EN 388 Score?

Simply speaking, the higher the score that this product achieves, the better the product will be at resisting that hazard. Products will score between Level 0 and Level 4 for abrasion, tears and punctures, and if they weren’t tested for that hazard you will see N/A written instead of a number.

Cuts are a little different and, with the EN 388 standard rewritten in 2016, it means that gloves will either be tested to cut resistance or ISO cut resistance (sometimes called TDM cut resistance). Gloves tested to cut resistance will score between Level 0 and Level 5, and gloves tested to ISO cut resistance will achieve a score between Level A and Level F with the higher letter offering better cut protection.
