Shield GD20 Blue Lightly-Powdered Nitrile Disposable Gloves

The Shield GD20 Blue Lightly-Powdered Nitrile Disposable Gloves are high quality disposable gloves designed to provide durable and reliable hand protection without compromising dexterity or user comfort. Manufactured from nitrile butadiene, the GD20 Gloves are more durable than similar disposable latex and vinyl gloves.

Tough Protection

The GD20 Nitrile Disposable Gloves are tough and durable, with a beaded cuff for added strength. They are a dependable alternative to latex gloves for users with a pre-existing latex allergy and individuals with hypersensitive skin.

Designed for Comfort

Along with excellent durability, nitrile butadiene gives the GD20 Gloves a flexible nature. This improves their feel and provides a close fit, effectively reducing hand fatigue during long periods of wear. A light powdering – maximum 10mg/dm² – reduces perspiration to further promote user comfort.

Textured For Improved Grip

The Shield GD20 Gloves have a textured outer surface for improved grip. This makes them ideal for applications where the user needs to keep a secure grip on tools, implements or utensils.

Blue Colour

Blue in colour, the Shield GD20 Gloves are ideal for environments where colour coding is used to reduce cross-contamination. In addition, their colour makes them easily traceable, which can enhance safety when used in the food industry.

Additional Attributes of the GD20 Gloves

  • Beaded cuff and powdering make for easier donning
  • Shelf life of three years
  • Ambidextrous design
  • Force at break of 6 Newtons
  • Latex free - reducing the risk of allergic reaction
  • Safe for use with Sodium hydroxide 40% (EN374)
  • EN420 rated Dexterity Level 5

Regulatory compliance of the Shield GD20 Gloves

The GD20 Gloves are manufactured in accordance with:

  • European Personal Protective Equipment Directive 89/686/EEC
  • CE Category: Cat III (0086)
  • EN420: Protective gloves: General requirements
  • EN374-2 Protective gloves: Chemicals and Micro organisms penetration
  • EN374-3 Protective gloves: Chemicals and Micro organisms permeation

The GD20 Gloves comply with:

  • EN455 parts 1 and 3: Medical gloves for single use

The GD20 Gloves are tested to:

  • AQL 1.5
  • EN388
  • Food approval EC1935/2004

Uses for the GD20 Disposable Gloves

The Shield GD20 Gloves are approved for use in the medical industry, including (but not limited to) use by doctors, dentists, vets, nurses, phlebotomists and pharmacists. The GD20 Gloves are also approved for use in the food industry, and can be used in food preparation, manufacturing, handling, distribution and service, with their colour making them easily traceable for enhanced safety. Other uses include home improvement, product inspection, airport security, domestic cleaning, customs investigations, beauty treatments and lab work.
