Skytec G3PU Amber Cut Resistant Gloves
The Skytec G3PU Amber Cut Resistant Gloves are durable work gloves with uniformly high EN388 mechanical resistance ratings. Their whole hand design is ventilated to keep hands cool, and utilises flexible materials to ensure finger dexterity and precision is not limited.
What Kind Of Protection Do These Gloves Offer?
With exceptional tear and abrasion resistance, these gloves are hard wearing for any general handling application. They also include a moderate level of cut resistance for applications in which there is some risk of encountering sharp edges and a good level of puncture resistance. Their robust design helps to guarantee protection for your whole hand.
What Is the Construction of these gloves?
The body of the Skytec G3PU Amber Gloves is machine knitted from HPPE fibres, which have been blended with other synthetic palms for excellent abrasion and tear resistance that does not sacrifice comfort or dexterity. They are Polyurethane palm-dipped, offering a firm grip and EN388 level 3 cut resistance on the palms and fingers. They feature a ventilated design to keep hands cool during work.
What Conditions are these gloves Appropriate for Use In?
These gloves perform best in dry conditions. They are ideal for use in applications which do not involve significantly wet or oily conditions.
Features of the Skytec G3PU Amber Gloves
In order to maintain robust and reliable levels of protection, these gloves feature the following:
- Level 3 cut resistance – protects hands in a range of applications involving sharps
- Whole hand design – offers total protection to your hands without limiting precision
- Polyurethane palm – is flexible while offering reliable protection
- Robust liner – which maintains high levels of protection against abrasion and tears
- Trademark Sanitized finish – has antimicrobial qualities to maintain freshness within the glove
- Elasticated wrist – ensures a firm and comfortable fit to a variety of hands
- Ventilated design – keeps the hands cool and comfortable even in warmer conditions
- Tricolore amber colour coding – is easily visible and helps to identify gloves quickly on sight
What Is the Tricolore Colour Coding System?
Skytec utilise a standardised colour coding system to help you select appropriate levels of cut resistance quickly and easily on site. The system is as follows:
- Red gloves: level 1 cut resistance
- Amber gloves: level 3 cut resistance
- Green gloves: level 5 cut resistance
These amber gloves are appropriate for work where you might need some cut resistance on the non-exposed areas of the hand, but cut level 5 green gloves would be more appropriate for working with blades directly.
Are These Gloves Latex Free?
These gloves use a Polyurethane palm-dip. This makes them latex free and allows those with latex allergies to wear these gloves without discomfort.
Applications of the Skytec G3PU Amber Gloves
