TraffiGlove TG6010 Anti-Cut Utility Gloves
The TraffiGlove TG6010 Anti-Cut Utility Gloves are a comfortable and flexible seamless pair of gloves with an X-Dura PU palm dipped coating, ideal for construction environments with a high risk of lacerations. In fact their ISO cut rating is the highest there is - making these gloves the perfect companion for dangerous sites.
Who Can Use the TraffiGlove TG6010 Utility Gloves?
These phenomenal Anti-Cut Utility Gloves feature a number of attributes which make them fantastic for high risk sites that involve sharp objects. Featuring a strong grip thanks to their dipped palm coating, these gloves are manufactured with a special mix of steel fibre and HPPE to create an extra strong and cut resistant material. Not only will the gloves keep you safe, but they will keep you comfortable as well, thanks to their knitted 15 gauge liner for enhanced breathability. What Is the Resistance of the TG6010 Gloves?
We believe these gloves are an excellent choice for precision engineering jobs with a high cut risk - but don't just take our word for it. These gloves are back by a regulatory body, adhering to EN 388 (mechanical protection). See below for further details:
EN 388
Property | Resistance Level |
Abrasion Resistance | Level 4 |
Cut Resistance | Level X |
Tear Resistance | Level 4 |
Puncture Resistance | Level 2 |
ISO Cut Resistance | Level F |
What Does This Mean?
The graph demonstrates the excellent resistances the TG6010 Gloves have to abrasions and tears, making them remarkably durable and repellent to wear and damage. Moreover, their invulnerability to laceration makes them all the more useful for high risk activities that involve industrial cutting. We can observe a slightly lower resistance towards punctures, but this does not necessarily impede the gloves's usefulness in the aforementioned industries.
The TraffiSystem – Safety Level at a Glance
TraffiGlove pride themselves on being the original inventors of the colour coded safety glove system. The TraffiSystem makes it easy to identify the level of cut protection required, based on the EN 388 test for cut resistance, even at a glance or from a distance.
Colour | Rate of Cut Protection | Description of Protection |
RED | Low | Suitable for lower cut risk tasks only, such as general product handling, warehouse and assembly line work and some low risk construction jobs. |
AMBER | Medium | Ideal for second fix construction, mechanical and electrical trades, steel fixing and handling materials with sharp edges. |
GREEN | High | The best choice for higher cut risk tasks like applying cladding, demolition, steel fabrication and handling glass or sheet metal with cut edges. |
How Cut Resistant are the TG6010 Utility Gloves?
Tested to the highest ISO level of cut (Level 5), these gloves can protect your hands in environments where they will be coming into repeated contact with sharp edges or cut hazards. The bright green design means that the gloves are clear and easily identified as being highly cut resistant.
Key Features
The TG6010 Gloves are designed with a number of key features that make them uniquely beneficial gloves to have on site:
- Highest level of cut protection according to EN388:2016
- Impressive comfort, dexterity and flexibility
- Seamless knitted 15 gauge liner for enhanced breathability
- X-Dura PU palm dipped coating for stronger grip
How Warm Are the TraffiGlove TG6010 Gloves?
These gloves are lightweight but offer a fantastic fit and consequently an intermediate level of heat retention. However, these gloves are definitely not designed for long exposure to cold or hot weather. These are gloves for dry and potentially dangerous work environments with risk of cuts.
Are the TraffiGlove TG6010 Gloves Good for Handling?
The TG6010 Gloves are lined with an X-Dura PU palm dipped coating, which enhances their grip on both sharp and blunt objects. Their thin material allow for greater dexterity whilst their resistance to sharp objects allows for greater hands-on interaction.
Which Size Should I Choose?
The TG6010 Gloves are available in four different sizes, meaning that you should be able to find the size that's right for you. To measure your hand, measure the circumference of your hand around the knuckles (excluding the thumb) with your hand open and your fingers together as seen in the image below.
Size of Glove | Hand Circumference (mm) | Hand Length (mm) | Min. Length of Gloves (mm) |
Size 7 | 178mm | 171mm | 230mm |
Size 8 | 203mm | 182mm | 240mm |
Size 9 | 229mm | 192mm | 250mm |
Size 10 | 254mm | 204mm | 260mm |
