Protection Ratings and Levels
Please view the information and tables below to see how Kutlass PU500G Gloves protect your hands from common on site hazards:
EN 388
EN 388 is a European regulation governing the sale of gloves used for safety and protection. It determines the gloves performance when used whilst working in and around mechanical machinery by measuring abrasion, cut, tear and puncture resistance. The EN 388 cut resistance test uses a single sharp implement to repeatedly pressure a glove in order to determine the amount of force required to cause visible and functional damage.
Standard | Resistance Level |
Abrasion Resistance | Level 4 |
Cut Resistance | N/A |
Tear Resistance | Level 4 |
Puncture Resistance | Level 2 |
TDM Cut Resistance | Level C |
Innovative Sanitation System
The Sanitized fabric hygiene system helps to reduce the growth and spread of microorganisms that are particularly problematic, such as clostridia and other antibiotic-resistant bacteria. This is particularly beneficial to work gloves because of the build up sweat and the risk of cross contamination from hand to face throughout the day.
Ultimate Industrial have partnered with Sanitized to reduce this risk and manufacture gloves that not only provide all the protection you'd expect, but that keep your hands hygienic and odour free too.
Kutlass PU500G Gloves Comfortable?
Kutlass PU500G Gloves are lightweight and comfortable, bearing all the hallmarks of a heavy safety glove without the intrusive, dexterity compromising thickness. Plaited inner fabric is kind on sensitive skin, removing issues with irritation and discomfort. They also achieve their brilliant Level C cut rating without a steel liner that can compromise comfort.
Polyurethane Coating Benefits
Polyurethane is an incredibly flexible coating. This is beneficial because it preserves dexterity and accuracy in the fingers. A heavier glove does not allow a high degree of finger movement, thus reducing the users ability to perform precise and dexterous tasks when wearing it.
A polyurethane coating has a lightweight feel to it that moulds the glove to the natural contour of your hand.
