The Cardinal Health Protexis Neoprene Latex-Free Sterile Powder Free Surgical Gloves are cream-coloured sterile surgical gloves made from synthetic neoprene with no natural latex rubber to prevent reactions.
These gloves are classified as a Class IIa Medical Device. They are supplied in a box containing 50 pairs.
Thin and Soft
The thin design of the Protexis Neoprene gloves – 0.17mm at the finger – provides the wearer with an incredibly high level of sensitivity. Additionally, because the gloves are made from neoprene they're also incredibly soft, ensuring comfort throughout the procedure. Despite this softness and thinness, the gloves are still tough enough for use in general surgery, protecting both wearer and patient from contamination.
Powder-Free
The gloves are supplied powder-free, helping to reduce the chance of powder-related skin irritation occurring as well as limiting post-operative complications associated with granulomas.
Produced on Cardinal Health Surgical Glove Mould
These gloves are produced on the exclusive Cardinal Health surgical glove mould, giving them a range of advantages compared to other surgical gloves. An independent thumb design gives the Protexis PI gloves more natural movement in fingers, thumbs and palm as well as a better, more anatomical fit.
On top of this, the gloves also feature a proprietary interlocking beaded cuff design to give improved protection against roll-down.
Suitable for General Surgery
The Protexis PI gloves are recommended for use in general surgery, and are supplied sterile to eliminate the risk of contamination. Because they are latex-free, they're ideal for use by staff who have sensitive skin.
