Suitable Applications and Environments for Ejendals Welding Gloves

Please view the list below to see which applications, environments and jobs suit Ejendals 134 Welding Gloves best:

Key Features and Benefits

  • Smoulder and ignition proof extended wrist cuff
  • Essential wear for foundry, welding and metal treatment workers
  • Contact heat resistant palm allows for safe handling of 100°C material
  • KEVLAR lining maximises cut-resistance
  • Gauntlet style is robust and heavyweight

Smoulder and Ignition Proof Extended Wrist Cuff

The most important protection for welders and metal treatment workers is splash, spark and heated discharge protection. Ejendals 134 Welding Gloves use an extended wrist and forearm cuff to shield a great portion of the arm against the sparks and molten splash that are generated when welding or grinding metal.

100°C Contact Heat Resistance Rating

Contact-heat resistance is what allows the safe handling, transfer and inspection of seriously hot material without burning or scalding your hands. Ejendals 134 Welding Gloves feature level 1 resistance, protecting the hands against material with a temperature not exceeding 100°C for up to 15 seconds.

KEVLAR Lining Enhances Protection

KEVLAR is traditionally used in bulletproof vests. It's world renown as one of the most durable synthetic fabrics thanks to its lightweight formulation and dense, cut-resistant tensile strength. Perfect for metal handling, KEVLAR is the industry leader for use in protective garments.

Full Quality Goatskin Leather

Goatskin leather has a number of benefits in comparison to other leathers available on the market. Supple and comfortable, goatskin has been used in glove making for centuries because of its durable, water-resistant and skin-friendly properties.

Level C Cut-Resistance Rating

Ejendals Tegera 134 Welding Gloves are rated Level C for cut-resistance under EN 388. This means their foundation fabric can withstand an incredible 15 newtons of downward force applied by a sharp implement before showing signs of damage. Perfect for handling sharp metal, this rating is designed to keep your hands cut-free.

Wonderful welding gloves, with a good gauntlet. Good sensitivity and protection. I just wish they were available in a size six - as smaller handed people still do metalwork.
