Suitable Environments for Use

What Is a 3/4 Coating??

A three-quarter coating refers to a finish that covers the palm, back of the hand and the fingers, leaving the final quarter of the glove uncovered. They are desirable because they enhance a gloves protection against cuts, abrasions, incisions and scratches by covering a much large surface area than say a palm or knuckle-only coating does.

WHAT COATING DO EJENDALS LATEX COATED GLOVES USE?

A sand finished latex coating covers the palm, fingers and back of the hand, giving Ejendals 8832R Gloves a slightly rough, highly protective finish that aids with grip and protection.

Amazing Contact Heat Resistance

Handling heated material of any kind is incredibly dangerous. Tegera 8832R Gloves use a treated fabric to allow the safe handling of material with a temperature of up to 250°C for an amazing fifteen seconds. This is ideal for mechanics, blacksmiths, foundry workers or any professional handling highly dangerous, heated material.

WHAT ARE 8832R GLOVES MADE FROM?

Ejendals 8832R Gloves are manufactured using a blend of high-performance polyethylene, stainless steel fibre yarn, polyester and nylon. This blend creates a skin-friendly fabric that is cut-resistant, hard-wearing and above all else provides a snug, comfortable wearing experience for the user.

Incredible Cut Resistance

Tegera Winter-Ready Gloves have been awarded a Level D cut-resistance rating under EN 388. This means the fabric is capable of withstanding a huge 22 newtons of downward pressure applied by a sharp implement.

What Does This Mean?

In real terms, this is the difference between a blade cutting through a gloves fabric and the tip becoming jammed between the steel fibres upon contact.

Cold Weather Ready

Ejendals Tegera Cold Weather Gloves are lined with a 13 gauge acrylic material that prevents cold air and moisture entering the palm and lowering the hands temperature. They are suitable for use outdoors and have Level 2 contact cold and Level 1 convective cold ratings under EN 388. This means cold will not be transferred from the object or from the air surrounding the user.
