Protection Ratings for HexArmor 4024 Chrome Series Gloves
EN 388
EN 388 is a European regulation governing the sale of gloves used for safety and protection. It determines the gloves' performance when used for protection against mechanical machinery by measuring the fabric's abrasion, cut, tear and puncture resistance.
The EN 388 cut resistance test uses a single sharp implement to repeatedly pressure a glove in order to determine the amount of force required to cause visible and functional damage.
Standard | Resistance Rating |
Abrasion Resistance | Level 4 |
Cut Resistance | N/A |
Tear Resistance | Level 2 |
Puncture Resistance | Level 1 |
ISO Cut Resistance | Level F |
Incredible Level F Cut Resistance
Level F cut-resistance is the highest rating available under EN 388. This incredible rating recognises the durability and blade resistance that HexArmor 4024 Gloves have. This is the difference between serious injury and the tip of a sharp implement simply lodging in the tightly spun woven fibres that make up your glove.
Exterior and Interior Double Stitched Seams
Fed up of rips and tearing? Save time and money with a substantial, long-term pair of work safety gloves. HexArmor use professional grade double stitching on their inner and outer seams, preventing the rips, tears and splitting that so easily occur when handling hazardous material.
SuperFabric Foundation Coating Benefits
Serious about heavy-duty protection, SuperFabric was developed in 1996 as a solution for preventing needle and knife incisions. It is the layer that prevents a serrated edge, needle or blade end from breaking through your glove and causing serious injury to your hand.
PVC Coating Benefits
PVC has a number of advantages over other glove coatings. It is entirely waterproof when using outdoors in the rain. It forms a thick, shiny layer on the glove that provides great protection against grease, oil and other sticky moistures. This makes PVC the perfect coating for protection against harmful liquids like chemicals and oil.
Synthetic Leather Palms
HexArmor use synthetic leather to enhance grip strength and stability at the palm area. More substantial than a lightweight fabric foundation, a synthetic leather body means you can carry more, for longer, without worrying about your gloves falling apart.
Isn't Synthetic Leather a Cheap Alternative?
Anything but. Synthetic leather actually has a number of advantages over its authentic counterpart. Firstly, it's cruelty-free. Secondly and most importantly, synthetic leather is resistant to cracking, sun-bleaching and liquid staining. It also holds up strength and durability wise when compared with the real thing.
Washing Instructions
HexArmor Safety Gloves couldn't be easier to wash. Simply consult the washing label on the inside of your gloves to find out how best to do so.
