Pawa PG122 High Dexterity Latex Coated Grip Gloves

The Pawa PG122 High Dexterity Latex Coated Grip Gloves are highly dexterous and breathable work gloves that utilise a grippy latex coating, making them perfect for low risk handling tasks within the warehousing, maintenance and construction industries. Functional liner technology keeps the hands cool and comfortable with an anatomical design, while the superior dexterity allows you to handle items easily.

Why Buy the Pawa PG122 Lateex Coated Grip Gloves

  • Micro foam technology: One of the few gloves to offer 360° breathability
  • Latex Coating: Latex coating allows for exceptional level of grip
  • Flexibility: Flexible enough for small parts handling and more
  • Lightweight: Ergonomic lining reduces hand fatigue through an anatomical shape
  • Moisture Management: Can reduce perspiration thanks to the nano foam lining

Where Can I Use the PG122 High Dexterity Grip Gloves?

The PG122 Gloves are well suited to many lower risk handling environments. Industries include:

  • Aerospace
  • Assembly
  • Automotives
  • Construction

Resistance

The PG122 Pawa Gloves have been tested to a range of standards to ensure protection. You can find the standards and the results below:

EN 388

Hazard Level of Resistance
Abrasion Resistance Level 2
Cut Resistance Level 1
Tear Resistance Level 2
Puncture Resistance Level 1

Why Are the PG122 Pawa Grip Gloves Ideal For Summer Environments?

The PG122 Gloves are well suited to hot environments outdoors. They are part of just a few gloves that utilise microfoam latex technology that can help to provide 360° breathability, ensuring hands stay cool and don't get sweaty in hot weather. This makes them well suited to outdoor tasks such as building, maintenance and more.

Why Are the PG122 Nitrile Breathable Gloves Ideal for Handling/?

Handling requires a small level of protection, grip and flexibility, all things that the PG122 provide in an abundance. The gloves are super-thin, giving the wearer enough dexterity to handle many small parts and items, while the latex coating itself can protect against rough edges and coarse surfaces. These all combine to make the gloves well suited to a wide range of handling tasks, from warehouse work to small parts assembly.

What is EN 388?

You might have noticed that this product adheres to EN standard EN 388. EN standards ensure that the product you are buying meets the safety standards of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), the highest standards organisation recognised by and working on behalf of the European Union. To pass any EN standard, a PPE product must undergo some of the most rigorous safety tests around.

There are many EN standards that our gloves adhere to. However, the EN standard that we’re concerned about here is EN 388. EN 388 stands for Mechanical Resistance, and informs you of your gloves' resistance to abrasion, cuts, tears and punctures.

How Do I Read the EN 388 Score?

Simply speaking, the higher the score that this product achieves, the better the product will be at resisting that hazard. Products will score between Level 0 and Level 4 for abrasion, tears and punctures, and if they weren’t tested for that hazard you will see N/A written instead of a number.

Cuts are a little different and, with the EN 388 standard rewritten in 2016, it means that gloves will either be tested to cut resistance or ISO cut resistance (sometimes called TDM cut resistance). Gloves tested to cut resistance will score between Level 0 and Level 5, and gloves tested to ISO cut resistance will achieve a score between Level A and Level F with the higher letter offering better cut protection.

Where Can I Find Out More?

This is just a brief overview of EN standard EN 388 so you know where you are standing. For further information, you can see the Introductory EN 388 Blog in our Knowledge Centre.
