EN 388
EN 388 is a European regulation governing the sale of gloves used for safety and protection. It determines the gloves' performance when used for protection against mechanical machinery by measuring the fabric's abrasion, cut, tear and puncture resistance.
The EN 388 cut resistance test uses a single sharp implement to repeatedly pressure a glove in order to determine the amount of force required to cause visible and functional damage.
Property | Resistance Level |
Abrasion Resistance | Level 4 |
Cut Resistance | X |
Tear Resistance | Level 4 |
Puncture Resistance | Level 4 |
ISO Cut Resistance | Level F |

APPLICATIONS FOR THE HEXARMOR HELIX 2076 GLOVES
Please view the list below to see which situations, environments and applications suit HexArmor Helix 2076 Safety Gloves:
Comfort Throughout the day
The Helix 2076 draw on a seamless construction with lightweight fibres to offer enhanced comfort and breathability throughout the working day. Meanwhile, their knitwrist cuffs will mitigate the infiltration of dirt and debris, allowing for uncompromising flexibility.
Polyurethane Palms
Thanks to the quality polyurethane coating across their palms, the Helix 2076 provide a superior grip in both oily and dry environments. This excellent palm coating remains both breathable and flexible no matter how difficult your work environment is.
What Are the Benefits of Polyurethane?
Polyurethane is an incredibly flexible coating. This is beneficial because it preserves dexterity and accuracy in the fingers. A heavier glove does not allow a high degree of finger movement, thus reducing the users ability to perform precise and dexterous tasks when wearing it. A polyurethane coating has a lightweight feel to it that moulds the glove to the natural contour of your hand.
