Why Are the MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves Ideal for Handling?
The MaxiFlex Gloves have been designed using technology developed by the makers of MaxiFlex, designed to guarantee outstanding performance during handling tasks. AD-APT technology that is activated by movement within your hands keeps your hands cool and prevents them from sweating, while GRIPtech infused into the lining of the gloves means that you have total control when handling materials.
The cooling design and grippy palms help to reduce hand fatigue and aid in grip, making the gloves well suited to handling tricky and tactile items and handling larger and coarser items too. It is their strong but sensitive nature that provides the right balance between mechanical protection, and the sensitivity needed to handle items with control and precision. This combination of comfort, breathability, grip, mechanical protection and sensitivity is why the MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves are a top pick for all handling needs.

What Will the MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves Protect Against?
The MaxiFlex Gloves are designed to make handling easier, while providing a strong level of protection against low to medium level risks. One way of proving their mechanical resistance to risks is through their EN 388 score, which measures resistance to abrasion, cuts, tears and punctures. The scores that the MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves received are:
EN 388
Property | Resistance Level |
---|
Abrasion Resistance | Level 4 |
Cut Resistance | Level 1 |
Tear Resistance | Level 3 |
Puncture Resistance | Level 1 |
Blade Cut | Level A |
What Does This Mean?
This means that the gloves offer the highest level of protection against abrasion, and an extremely high level of protection against tears. This means that the gloves will protect your hands while ensuring that the material of the gloves stays strong without damage. This combination of abrasion and tear resistance is ideal for handling coarse materials, while also ensuring the longevity of your purchase.
How Much Grip Will the MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves Provide?
The MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves have been designed using something called GRIPtech, a technology that optimises grip through a micro-cup finish that enables a controlled grip. The nitrile palm coating is coarse to the touch, meaning that you will find that products tend to stick to the hand without slipping.
How Much Dexterity Will the MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves Provide?
The gloves feature a thickness of not much larger than a millimetre, meaning that they are extremely thin and offer a high level of dexterity. This level of dexterity is ideal for handling materials, as it puts you firmly in control.
How Much Sensitivity Will the MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves Provide?
They have been designed to offer protection and sensitivity, meaning that you can rest assured that your hands are protected despite the fact that you can bend, twist and flex your fingers and hands while feeling the object that you are handling. This level of sensitivity means that you have more control when handling materials, perfect for extended use throughout the day.
How Comfortable Are the MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves?
The MaxiFlex Gloves feature a comfortable design due to a knitted construction using the latest knitting technology, meaning that the gloves work to reduce hand fatigue throughout the day. This is particularly useful in repetitive jobs such as assembly, where your hands can begin to get tired after a long day at work. By reducing this tiredness, you can improve productivity from shift start to shift finish.
How Tight Fitting Are the MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves?
Designed to be tight fitting, the MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves provide a certain level of warmth and snugness that is particularly ideal for colder, outdoor conditions. This snug fit is perfect for handling materials safely as they enable a high level of sensitivity. Despite their snug fit, flexibility and protection is retained, only adding to their usefulness.
Will the Knitwrist Protect My Wrists?
The knitwrist extends partly up your wrist, ensuring that the immediate area after your hand stays protected from debris and clean. The full length of the knitwrist depends on the size of glove that you select. The wrist length ranges between 60mm for size 6, and 75mm for size 12.
How Breathable Are the MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves?
The makers of the MaxiFlex Gloves understand that wearing gloves for handling all day long can make your hands pretty sweaty. By using AD-APT technology, the MaxiFlex Ultimate Gloves release a natural cooling agent when they recognise an increase in hand temperature. This natural cooling agent keeps your hands dry and cool, and the cooling agent will continue to last for the duration of the gloves life.

Gloves from ATG can be washed safely in the following way:
1. Use commercial laundry soap or detergent (do NOT use dry cleaning solutions!)
2. Wash in warm to medium hot water, do not exceed 104°F (40°C)
3. Wash for 10 minutes
4. Rinse in cold water.
5. Repeat wash and rinse if soiling is especially heavy
6. Rinse in cold water
7. Tumble dry - maximum temperature 140°F (60°C)
When laundering gloves that have especially heavy dirt or grease, include several pieces of heavy canvas in the second wash cycle - friction from the canvas against the gloves helps loosen and remove deep dirt.
IMPORTANT NOTE
During the use of gloves and the laundering process glove performance can and will deteriorate. For critical areas requiring cut and heat resistance tests need to be conducted after use and laundering to ensure that the performance criteria still meet the needs of those using the glove. Safety Gloves can accept no liability once gloves have been washed.
