What is Level D cut Resistance?

A level D cut resistance rating is a score given to gloves when tested for cut resistance under EN 388 standards. Gloves that have tested to level D cut resistance offer protection of force up to 15 newtons against straight blade cuts, making them suitable for tasks in which there is a higher risk of cuts from sharp hazards.
