EN 388: Mechanical Resistance
The Turtleskin Workwear Plus Gloves have been tested against mechanical risks under the European standards EN 388. This standard tests the gloves' protection against hazards such as cuts, tears, puncture, and abrasion, and can be used to determine how hard-wearing the gloves are.

Patented Turtleskin Fabric
Light, breathable and almost impenetrable the Turtleskin fabric has the world's tightest weave. Turtleskin fabric is so diverse and strong that it has been used by everyone from law enforcement, to military to NASA.
Features Aramid Fibre
Aramid material is weaved tight to provide superior protection from sharp objects including metal shards, needlesticks, knives and glass fragments. This tight weave prevents lateral fibre and inter-fibre shifting. For additional cut and puncture protection, the gloves also feature a palm side Aramid lining.

How Turtleskin Test Puncture Resistance
Turtleskin use a 28 Gauge needle to test the resistance of their glove range. The needle is aimed at the glove at a 90 degree angle, at a velocity of 500mm/min. This is repeated 12 times and the average force required to puncture the glove is then recorded.
Comfortable Design
Also designed for comfortable wear, the Turtleskin Workwear Plus gloves feature a stretch knit to the back of the glove. An adjustable Velcro closure on the gloves achieve a personalised fit, and prevents any irritating debris or dirt from entering the gloves.
Washing Instructions
The Turtleskin Workwear Plus Safety Gloves can be hand washed and left to dry naturally and not tumble dried. The gloves may be chemically sterilised if required.
