Being a blacksmith means being a skilled and talented worker. It means working with your hands, creating and shaping a substance that is otherwise resistant to all manipulation. Blacksmiths have been around for generations, back to when swords were needed to fight in a war. Although the craft is formed on the same basis, the focus on safety and protection has come along in leaps and bounds since then.
